Hsu Studios creates aerodynamic mobiles and colorful collages in jewelry made of anodized aluminum. Wallpieces and sculpture are also part of our repertoire in which we often mix aluminum with found objects, such as tin cans and wood. Hsu Studios is a husband and wife team, Carol and Jean-Pierre Hsu, artist / designers for over 30 years. Our works of art are for everyday use. Our mobiles blend form, color texture and motion. Using this dynamic and fluid format, we express the balance of the varied elements in our lives. The lightweight, versatile qualities of anodized aluminum are perfect for our airy, unique mobiles. We are inspired to design enduring, vibrant artworks that transcend traditional form and complement everyone's environment. We produce one-of-a-kind and limited-edition works of art, in addition to our production lines available at craft galleries and museum shops across the country. We also participate in select juried craft fairs and gallery shows each year. Colors Shown on this website: The various color ways our artworks are shown are examples of the vast possibilities we offer at Hsu Studios. Our works are available in many other combinations of color unless otherwise noted. For example, an earring that incorporates five aluminum parts has over 2.4 million possible variations using our 19 colors. A piece with four parts has only 130 thousand possibilities. Please don't hesitate to ask us about color possibilities that are not shown or ask for suggestions. The palette of colors offered can be seen here. Items, prices and dates subject to change.
