Baked Brie    -From Hsu Studios                [back]

For a 6-8'' round of Brie.  Could be done with a wedge too.

Use an ovenproof 9'' soufflé dish or deep pie pan to contain juices.

1/2 stick            Butter
1/2-3/4 cup     Brown Sugar

Melt together until just bubbling:
Pour over brie in the dish.
Cover with sliced almonds  -  about 1/2 cup

Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes.  Until soft.

Let cool a few minutes.  It will run when cut into.

Serve with apple slices or crackers.
