  2.
  1. Preview your site (click the Preview eye icon in the upper left)
  2. Switch to Style Mode (click the Change Style paintbrush icon in the lower right)
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Style controls panel on the left. Click the Custom CSS button. This will open the Custom CSS editor in a dialog.
  4. Enter the following code into the Custom CSS editor, then click the Save button:

#footer #footerBlocks-1 {width: 100%; float: none;}

Note that "float: none" overrides the template default of "float: right"—this is the reason the footer block was right-aligned. The "width: 100%" code overrides the template default of "width: 50%."—this was keeping the footer aligned within half of the page width. If you leave the width at 50%, then your footer block will now align centered within the leftmost column on your page, rather than the pull page width.

Through some CSS-cavation, I discovered that you can change other properties of the header and footer in the Ishimoto template by targeting the #headerWrapper and #footerWrapper ids with custom CSS. For example, to make the background color of the header dark gray, add the following code to your custom CSS:

#headerWrapper {background-color: darkgray;}

But, since it’s just for that page, insert the following code in the Page Header Injection for that page’s settings:

<style>
#navigator header#topBar {
display: none !important;
}
.autohide-footer #navigator footer#bottomBar.viewable {
bottom: 0;
display: none !important;
}
</style>
